Questions

Everything You Asked

How much does a wedding DJ cost in the Niagara Region?

Lavish Entertainment packages run from $895 for four hours of reception coverage to $1,995 for all-day coverage with full lighting design and a second engineer. The most-booked package is Signature at $1,395, which covers six hours from ceremony through reception. Every quote is confirmed in writing before any deposit is taken.

How does the deposit work?

A deposit reserves your date the moment you book. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event, and the deposit is fully refundable within 7 days of booking.

Can we pick the music?

Yes. Every booking includes a planning form for must-plays, do-not-plays, and special dances. From there, live reads of the room fill in the rest of the night.

Do you travel outside the Niagara Region?

Events within 50 kilometres are included. Beyond that a travel fee is quoted with your booking — just note the venue in your inquiry.

What happens if equipment fails during our event?

Every critical piece of gear — mixer, speakers, microphones, laptop — travels with a backup. In ten years, no event has stopped for a technical failure.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully insured with liability coverage. Certificates of insurance are available for any venue that requires one, which most Niagara banquet halls and wineries do.

Do you MC as well as DJ?

Yes. Announcements, introductions, and timeline cues are included in every package at no extra cost — you do not need to hire a separate MC.

How far in advance should we book a wedding DJ?

Most couples book 9 to 14 months out. Peak Niagara dates — Saturdays from June through September, and any long weekend — go first, often more than a year ahead.
